Teaching at CCBS

Thank you for your interest in teaching at Carolina College of Biblical Studies.

We equip disciples of Christ for a lifetime of faithful servant leadership through biblical higher education. The CCBS community is comprised of faculty and staff dedicated to this mission.

Now Recruiting for the Following Teaching Position:

• Biblical Studies (undergraduate level, campus instruction) — must have a master’s degree (ideally a Master of Divinity) with at least 18 hours in Bible or theology. The immediate need is for on-campus teaching.
  • Course options include: Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Life of Christ, Doctrine, History of the Bible, Church History, etc.
• Leadership (undergraduate level, campus instruction) — must have a master’s degree (ideally a Master of Divinity) with at least 18 hours in leadership and/or ministry. The immediate need is for on-campus teaching.
  • Course options include: Intro to Leadership, Servant Leadership, Biblical Leadership, Leading through Change, etc.
• Ministry/Professional Studies (undergraduate level, campus instruction) — must have a master’s degree (ideally a Master of Divinity) with at least 18 hours in ministry or professional studies/skills. The immediate need is for on-campus teaching.
  • Course options include: Hermeneutics, Expositional Preaching, Spiritual Formation, Intro to Discipleship, etc.
• Biblical Counseling Professor (undergraduate level, campus instruction) — must have an earned doctorate in Biblical Counseling with at least 18 hours of work in that area at the master’s level. The immediate need is for on-campus teaching.
  • Course options include: Intro to Biblical Counseling, Theological Foundations of Biblical Counseling, Emotions & Addictions, Marriage & Family, Contemporary Issues in Biblical Counseling, Grief/Death/Crisis Counseling, etc.

Qualifications:

• To teach at the undergraduate level, applicants must have an earned master’s degree in the teaching discipline from an accredited institution with at least 18 hours in the cognate area.
• To teach at the graduate level, applicants must have an earned doctorate in the teaching discipline from an accredited institution.
