requirements to apply

The scholarships that are awarded by CCBS are donor-supported scholarships. Students must apply for these scholarships each academic year to be considered for the award.

Newly enrolled and returning students may apply, but continued eligibility is based on Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), which includes a GPA of at least 2.0 and passing 67% of attempted classes. SAP is reviewed each semester and awards will be adjusted accordingly.

Each student must complete the application and submit a typed essay with a minimum of 300 words containing an explanation of his/her educational and ministry goals and reasons for his/her need for the scholarship.

The amount and timing of awards will be at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. Scholarship funds will not be awarded in excess of a student’s charges for the term. Students must remain enrolled to be eligible for funds.
