Advanced Master of Divinity
Prepare for Professional Ministry
The Advanced Master of Divinity is for students who have had significant undergraduate preparation in biblical or religious studies culminating in a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of a similar theological background as CCBS.
Because of the required background in biblical studies, Advanced MDiv students shorten the normally 84 hour MDiv program to only 60 hours by not having to re-take courses like OT Survey, NT Survey, Spiritual Formation, etc.
Like the MDiv, the Advanced MDiv a professional degree that equips students biblically, theologically, practically, and professionally in ministry leadership roles (e.g., pastor, chaplain, counselor) and serves as a foundation for doctoral studies.
